This will be a practical place to check in with the coast: somewhere to find the latest word from restaurants, hosts, shops and local guides. The stories matter as much as the opening hours. We want to show the people welcoming visitors, the work they do and how to reach them directly.
An update you can put a date on.
Each published entry will say who confirmed it, when they confirmed it, the service currently available and the best way to ask a question. A dated owner update helps you plan; it is not a live opening-hours feed. Older directory entries will not automatically become ‘open’ badges.
Before you make the trip.
For a particular meal, room or activity, contact the business before setting off. Ask about the date you have in mind and anything your visit depends on. This sample page contains no confirmed reopening reports yet. The first edition will be built from direct conversations and on-location reporting.
